  • “Lot” means any item offered for sale at auction.

  • “Auction Platform” means third-party bidding platforms including, but not limited to, The Saleroom, Bidspotter, Invaluable, and Easy Live Auction.

Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.

2. Scope of Our Services

We provide auctioneering services to consumers, including but not limited to:

  • Auction sales of goods

  • Valuations for auction or insurance purposes

All services are provided subject to these Terms & Conditions and any additional terms set out by the relevant auction platform.

3. Valuations

  • Valuations are opinions only and are not guarantees of selling price.

  • Valuations may be provided verbally or in writing and are based on market conditions at the time they are given.

  • We accept no responsibility for changes in value due to market fluctuations or other factors beyond our control.

4. Auction Sales

  • All auctions are conducted in accordance with the rules of the relevant auction platform.

  • By registering to bid, you agree to be bound by both our Terms & Conditions and the platform’s terms.

  • The highest accepted bid at the close of the auction forms a legally binding contract of sale.

5. Pricing, Payments and Fees

  • Hammer prices, buyer’s premiums, internet bidding fees, taxes, and any additional charges are set out on the relevant auction platform.

  • Payment terms, accepted payment methods, and deadlines are determined by the auction platform and must be complied with in full.

  • Failure to make payment may result in cancellation of the sale and further action being taken in accordance with platform rules.

6. Cancellations, Refunds and Returns

  • All auction sales are final.

  • Lots are sold as seen, and no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations are offered once the hammer has fallen, except where required by law.

  • It is your responsibility to review descriptions, images, and condition reports before bidding.

7. Customer Obligations

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when registering or bidding

  • Satisfy yourself as to the condition, authenticity, and suitability of any lot prior to bidding

  • Comply with all applicable laws, these Terms & Conditions, and auction platform rules

8. Intellectual Property

  • All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design, is owned by us or licensed to us.

  • You may not copy, reproduce, or use any content without our prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial use.

9. Liability and Limitations

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of our website, services, or participation in auctions.

  • We do not accept liability for inaccuracies in descriptions, catalogues, or condition reports, which are provided in good faith.

  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, fire, flood, strike, technical failure, or interruption to auction platforms.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

  • We process personal data in accordance with UK data protection legislation, including the UK GDPR.

  • Personal data is used only for legitimate business purposes, including administering auctions and providing services.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version published on our website at the time you use our services will apply.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
